Cleveland Golf

Cleveland Golf

Since 1979 Cleveland Golf has been at the forefront of innovation and design technology. Founded in that year by Roger Cleveland, the company began by producing exquisite replicas of classic golf clubs from the 1940's and 1950's. They quickly turned their attention to the designing of new equipment and have developed a firm reputation for creating world-class wedges, favoured by Tour players and amateurs alike.

From the 588 wedge to the 460cc driver, Cleveland Golf has remained on the cutting edge of industry technology. Becoming the first company to market wedges with multiple bounce options on the sole and individually mill grooves into wedge faces. Today the brand remains committed to delivering Tour-tested, premium equipment to passionate golfers of all abilities. Ensuring players have more fun on the course by producing shots that help the ball to travel longer and straighter, ending up closer to the hole. Making them a favourite amongst some of the world’s best players including Vijay Singh, Keegan Bradley and Graeme McDowell.

At GolfOnline we carry an extensive range of Cleveland Golf equipment. Whether you are looking for a new ultra-light driver like the Cleveland CG Black or searching for the perfect bag, we stock the best available options Cleveland has to offer. If for any reason you cannot find an item on our website, contact us and we can order directly from Cleveland (subject to availability).

Cleveland Golf's Biggest Grooves Ever!

Introducing ZIP Grooves™ from Cleveland® Golf—the latest envelope-stretching technology from the #1 wedge in golf. This breakthrough technology features consistent milling of each groove to maximum conforming dimensions. The absolute integrity of these grooves is maintained by the application of a proprietary coating to each groove for protection during the face sandblasting process. The resulting ZIP Grooves are pristine and shiny, Cleveland's biggest and most precisely milled ever. Bring on the zip. Bring on the spin. Bring on the game.

Spin Control

The technology of Zip Grooves creates a larger groove volume which channels more debris than traditional grooves to improve contact with the ball. This milling optimizes spin on each and every shot - making Zip Grooves perfect for players that expect optimal spin and distance control.

RTG Finish

The RTG+ finish provides an initial rust-like appearance without having to wait for the rusting that will take place over time.  This type of finish is inspired by tour players who prefer clubs with a softer feel and reduced glare at address.

The RTG+ finish will wear off after 3 to 5 rounds of play at the sole and face of club.  The rate at which the finish will rust depends on the climate conditions that the club is exposed to.

Over time, the RTG+ finish will completely rust over.  Each time the club is put in play, the rust will wear off again at impact locations; mainly the sole and face of the club.

CMM™ material composition is a metal so revolutionary that it has transformed the future of golf club design. CMM™ metal originated with Cleveland Golf's award winning CG10™ line of wedges and today is the metal of choice when it comes to Cleveland Golf's patent-pending irons.

Filled with microscopic carbon spheres, CMM™ metal is the first dual composition, light density metal to hit the golf market. This innovative new material feels noticeably softer, yet more solid than typical forged or cast carbon steels due to the microscopic interactions of millions of carbon spheres infused into each CG wedge and iron. These interactions enhance internal dampening in order to soften disruptive vibrations at impact.

100x Magnification. Microscopic carbon spheres suspended in steel reduce its density by 10% and dramatically increase vibration-damping properties.

100x Magnification. Traditional 8620 and 1020 steels have significantly less carbon within their molecular structure.

Along with remarkable feel, Cleveland Golf's light density CMM™ material provides our golf club designers with the unprecedented ability to strategically distribute discretionary weight in a clubhead for optimal performance as well as enhanced forgiveness on off-center shots.

Vibration Absorbing System

The patented Vibration Absorbing System damps unwanted vibration with a unique viscoelastic compound. This is one of the features that has been setting Cleveland's Tour Action irons apart from the competition for over a decade. By absorbing the initial shock waves created by impact with the golf ball, golf clubs featuring the vibration absorbing system offer a consistently solid feel.
