The 35-year-old instead opted for the uncharacteristic golf clothing of a navy blue jumper, which was shredded down the back, loose jeans, a baseball cap and flip-flops when taking to an exclusive course in Beverly Hills.

However, Beckham was not there to enjoy a round and instead paced the fairways on her mobile phone while sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz played some shots with some golf irons.

Meanwhile, husband David proved earlier this year that he is in no position to move permanently to the professional ranks of golf during a round in Los Angeles.

The 115-cap England footballer was seen raising a golf wedge in frustration after having difficulty playing a shot from a bunker.

He also decided to hit the fairways in less than traditional golf apparel, wearing a baseball cap back to front and baggy shorts with a collared black T-shirt.
