Connery has shoulder op to bring golf game back up to scratch

Sir Sean Connery should be back swinging his golf clubs in no time after undergoing surgery to cure an irritating shoulder problem.
The former James Bond actor exacerbated the injury when playing the sport last June after stumbling when on a course.
He continued to try to routinely hit golf balls, but the failure of a chipped bone to heal properly caused him to have the treatment as his form dipped.
A source close to the 79-year-old actor told the Sun: "He's had difficulty with this shoulder for a while but it got worse after his accident on the golf course last year.
"Sir Sean is in fine shape, is out of hospital and recovering well. He cancelled a number of engagements but he's getting back on track."
In his memoirs, Sir Sean highlighted that it was not until he began learning how to play golf ahead of the Bond movie Goldfinger that his love of the game first began.
One of the people that he has had the opportunity to meet through playing golf is flying hero Sir Douglas Bader.
