Mizuno CLK Fli-Hi Hybrid offers long distance control
Tuesday 30 June, 2009
Players looking for more control on their green approaches from distance may wish to test the Mizuno CLK Fli-Hi Hybrid utility club.
A review of the club by Neil Tappin for Golf Monthly has indicated that although a "different feel off the face" is offered by the club, players will soon become used to this.
Among the positives of the hybrid, according to Mr Tappin, is that they offer a large amount of forgiveness for players looking to blast their golf balls long distances from the fairway.
Forgiveness levels are increased by the club through weight being relocated to the back of its head, which also helps to give the ball a higher launch.
Furthermore, Mr Tappin remarks that the Mizuno CLK Fli-Hi Hybrid offers players a greater confidence before a ball is struck, increasing the chance of a good shot being performed.
Meanwhile, the club's head ensures that it is versatile from all lies and provides a player with more carry, while ball speed is maximised.
Luke Donald and Brian Gay are just two of the players to have endorsement deals with Mizuno.
