U.S. Team Claims Junior Ryder Cup Victory

U.S. Team Claims Junior Ryder Cup Victory
After an impressive two days, the U.S. has claimed victory over the Europeans at the Junior Ryder Cup in Scotland.

The two-day event marked the 4th successive win for the Americans, with a 16-8 triumph at the Blairgowrie Golf Club.

Amy Lee claimed the winning point for the U.S. after an incredible match against Germanys Alexandra Forsterling.  With the 17-year-old shooting four consecutive birdies starting at the 10th hole.

It feels really good, the 2013 Womens Junior PGA Champion said afterwards. I played absolutely flawless today, I think I was five under through 13 holes. I birdied ten, 11, 12 and 13 coming in to win the match so it was amazing.

With congratulations coming in from some of golfs top players, including Keegan Bradley, the young team is sure to be pleased with themselves.
