The RB566 is an even softer feeling version of its predecessor with a new micro-dimple configuration to maintain hang-time past the apex of flight. With a softer yet higher energy core, the RB566 offers a great balance of high trajectory, soft feel and all-round performance.
With a softer ball like the RB566, feel is a priority and aerodynamics become the key to maintaining distance. Mizuno found that at lower swing speeds, the higher, straighter flight of the RB566 and impact of the smaller dimples outweigh any minor loss of ball speed (of a harder ball).
