About control. And about how many players can’t hit blades. So Nike engineers asked Tiger for his input. Mass is distributed to the perimeter of the club head to increase the MOI leading to enhanced distance and forgiveness on off-centre hits.
Contoured Undercut Cavity
The undercut cavity is contoured to position mass behind the centre of the club face for increased feel and distance control.
Tapered Face Thickness
Face thickness increases from the top line to the sole to lower the Centre of Gravity (CG) in order to optimize trajectory.
