Matteo Manassero has credited his third-place finish at last years Omega European Masters as the most significant week of his career to date.
That result propelled the 18-year-old Italian up the rankings and gave him a guaranteed place on this years tour.
Manassero was battling to secure a tour card when he arrived in Switzerland 12 months ago, but two wins since have seen him leap to number 30 in the world.
Now, as he returns to the same course for the 2011 edition of the tournament this weekend, the 18-year-old Italian is looking forward to the challenge of ending up even higher on the leader board.
