The Argentine, who fell agonisingly short at last years Open, double-bogeying the 17th as final round leader, finished on 13-under for the tournament, after a four-under 68. However there was a long wait for the 26-year-old as a rain delay interrupted proceedings. Romero, who came away with 1,116,00 558,000 commented Im glad to win my first PGA Tour event.
