Branden Grace secured his 6th European Tour victory on Saturday, winning the Qatar Masters just 1-stroke ahead of Scotland’s Marc Warren.
Armed with the
Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 815 Double Black Diamond, Grace drove an incredible shot onto the 16th green to make a five-foot eagle putt on the hole.
“I’m going to thank Callaway again – that driver again on 16…without that it wouldn’t be possible,” Grace told reporters afterwards.
The 2015 Race to Dubai is off to a great start for the 26-year-old, who won the Alfred Dunhill Masters in December. Grace has now captured every tournament he has been leading or co-leading when entering the final round.
With this latest win, Grace is expected to enter the top-50 in the world golf rankings and is currently number 3 in the Race to Dubai standings. A result the South African golfer is more than satisfied with.
“It was a great day, a great week, and it’s another trophy to put in the cupboard,” said Grace.
