Brandt Snedeker Promises Hunter Mahan’s Daughter a Great Baby Gift after Winning the Canadian Open

Brandt Snedeker Promises Hunter Mahan’s Daughter a Great Baby Gift after Winning the Canadian Open
Brandt Snedeker wasn’t sure on Sunday if he would have been the winner of the Canadian Open without a little help from fellow golfer, Hunter Mahan’s wife, Kandi.

“I can't thank Kandi enough for going into labor early. I don't know if I'd be sitting here if she hadn't,” said Snedeker.

Mahan led the tournament at the halfway point, but during practice Saturday morning received word that the arrival of his daughter was imminent.  Forcing the Ping player to withdraw from play and quickly catch a flight to make the birth of Zoe.

Snedeker was able to use Mahan’s impending fatherhood to push himself forward.  Securing his second win of the season with a 2-under 70 and a three-stroke triumph.

The 32-year-old plans to pay homage to the little arrival he believes helped in his victory.  “Zoe will be getting a very nice baby gift from me.”
