Dustin Johnson Looking to Defend his Title in Hawaii

Dustin Johnson Looking to Defend his Title in Hawaii
As the final round of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions gets under way today, Dustin Johnson will be hoping to break out of the three-way lead he shares with Webb Simpson and Jordan Spieth, to claim the PGA Title for the second consecutive year.

Johnson’s third round performance was impressive, eagling the par-5 ninth hole before carding three birdies on the back nine. Giving the TaylorMade player a 4-under finish for the day and solidifying his place at the top of the leaderboard.

The 29-year-old will now be hoping he can carry that momentum forward as he looks to capture his ninth PGA Tour win.

“I've got to take advantage of the par-fives,” said Johnson after being asked what is needed to secure victory.

“Today, I made a birdie and an eagle but I parred the two on the back nine which is poor for me, especially (after) hitting good drives.”

With a pretty intense field it will be interesting to see if Johnson can pull off another win in Hawaii.
