Golfing Could Help to Lower Blood Pressure

Golfing Could Help to Lower Blood Pressure
If you’re looking for a good excuse to get out on the greens this weekend, the fact it could be beneficial to your health is a pretty good one.

According to an article published in the Daily Mail, researches in America have found that simple hand exercises, like gripping and releasing your golf clubs, could in fact help to lower your blood pressure.

An expert panel from the American Heart Association found that isometric hand-grip exercises could reduce blood pressure by 10% when practiced 15 minutes a day, five times a week for four weeks.

While we have been told for years about the positive effects of regular exercise, this latest research indicates that alternative, low-impact techniques can also prove successful including acupuncture, slow breathing and even meditation.
