Justin Rose Out Until February

Justin Rose Out Until February
An incredible 2013 looks to have taken its toll on U.S. Open winner Justin Rose. His management team announced at the end of last week Rose would be delaying the start of his 2014 season until at least February.

Besides pulling out of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship this week the TaylorMade player will also be missing the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines due to a shoulder injury.

The 33-year-old was seen to be struggling with the issue at the end of last year. While Rose’s case of tendinitis seems to be improving it will require rest and rehabilitation to fully heal.

A statement from his management team explained, “Doctor's reports are positive, but with rest and rehab as the only means of recovery, he will be forced to delay his start to the 2014 calendar season and will unfortunately miss the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and the Farmers Insurance Open.”

All are hopeful for a February return.
