Thumb Injury to Keep Jason Day Out Until May
Jason Day’s agent has confirmed the golfer will be out for the next three weeks due to an on-going thumb injury.
 
The 26 year-old originally injured his thumb in February and took six weeks off to let it heal. Only returning to play at last weekend’s Masters where Day tied for 20th.
 
However, by yesterday the Australian had announced he would be pulling out of this week’s RBC Heritage after having a cast put on his left hand.
 
Day hopes to return to the field in time for the Players Championship, which begins on May 8th.
