Look down.
What do you see?

Stand over a TRTL and the shape speaks for itself. Odyssey’s designers saw it first: a low, wide shell with something at every corner.

There it is

It’s a TRTL.

The hexagonal top is the shell. The four corner pods are the flippers. And the turtle is exactly what Odyssey wanted you to feel over a putt: steady, stable and poised, protected by its shell.

Built like one

Every part has a job.

1The shellSteel frame, lightweight ABS shell, aluminium sole. Weight goes to the edges for maximum MOI.

2The flippersA weight in every corner, so you can move the centre of gravity and tune the toe hang.

3The headTwin Track lines run unbroken, right up to the face and the Ai-Star insert.

4The bellyNew sole geometry, so it sits naturally square the moment you set it down.

Slow. Steady. In.

Trust the TRTL.

From Major Championship pressure to putting for a personal best, you can always trust the TRTL to be as steady and stable as the animal that inspired it.

The story

“We believe this is the next iconic shape from Odyssey.”

“We wanted to bring the alignment line all the way to the face, to soften the edges, and we wanted to make the alignment lines highly visible. We’re excited about the MOI, the CG depth, and the insert really separates TRTL.”

TRTL DB

For a straight-back, straight-through stroke

The double bend shaft makes the TRTL DB face balanced, so the face points to the sky when you balance the shaft. It wants to stay square with very little rotation. Right and left-handed.

TRTL CH

For a slight arc

The crank hosel gives 20° of toe hang, so the face opens and closes a little through the stroke. A classic look at address and a natural fit for a gentle arc. The heaviest of the mid-mallets at 360g. Right-handed.

TRTL S

For a strong arc

The slant neck gives the most toe hang in the family at 30°. The face rotates more freely, so it releases naturally for golfers who swing on a pronounced arc, the way many tour players do. Right-handed.

For anyone who wants the face to stay square

The biggest, most stable TRTL. A larger head for maximum MOI, plus Square 2 Square zero torque: the head has no urge to twist open or shut, it just stays square. Aluminium shell, reverse-taper grip. Right and left-handed.

The roll

Less skid.
More roll.

Every putt skids before it rolls, and skid is where putts wander. The Ai-Star insert and new F.R.D. grooves get the ball rolling end over end sooner, so it holds its line and its pace.

19°Groove slope.
Deeper and more
aggressive than before.

F.R.D. stands for Forward Roll Design. The steeper grooves work with the dual-layer insert to improve forward roll up and down the face.

Questions

Good to know.

Still deciding? Our team can talk you through every TRTL in store or over the phone.

Which TRTL putter suits my stroke?+

Match the neck to your stroke. A straight-back, straight-through stroke suits the face-balanced TRTL DB. A slight arc suits the TRTL CH (20° toe hang), and a strong arc suits the TRTL S (30° toe hang). If you simply want the face to stay square with no twisting, choose the zero-torque TRTL Max Square 2 Square.

What is the difference between TRTL and TRTL Max?+

TRTL is a mid-mallet available as the DB, S and CH. TRTL Max is a larger mallet with the highest MOI in the family and Odyssey’s Square 2 Square zero-torque design. It is heavier (375g against 355 to 360g), has an aluminium shell and comes with a reverse-taper grip.

Why is it called TRTL?+

Look down at it from address: the hexagonal top looks like a shell and the four corner pods look like flippers. Odyssey built the whole idea around the turtle, steady, stable and poised, and designed the putter to give you that same calm over every putt.

What does Square 2 Square zero torque mean?+

The shaft is aligned with the head’s centre of mass, so the putter has no natural urge to rotate open or closed during the stroke. The face stays square without you having to manage it.

Can I adjust the weights on a TRTL putter?+

Yes. There are four weights, one in each corner of the head. Moving weight forward, back, towards the heel or towards the toe changes the centre of gravity and the toe hang. Odyssey weight kits are sold separately.

What is the Ai-Star insert?+

A dual-layer insert designed using artificial intelligence: a firmer urethane striking surface over an aluminium inner layer. It is built for consistent ball speed across the face and better forward roll, and works with the new 19° F.R.D. grooves.

Are TRTL putters available left-handed?+

Yes. The TRTL DB and TRTL Max Square 2 Square come in right and left-handed. The TRTL S and TRTL CH are right-handed only.

How much are TRTL putters and when are they available?+

The TRTL DB, S and CH are £299 and the TRTL Max Square 2 Square is £329. They are available to reserve now and ship from mid November 2026, in 33, 34 and 35 inch lengths, each with a TRTL headcover.

Can I get fitted for a TRTL putter?+

Yes. Book a putter fitting in store and our team will help you choose the right model, neck and length for your stroke.
