Ping G425 Irons / 5-SW / AWT 2.0 Regular Flex

The Ping G425 irons are a part of Ping's G series, which is known for its focus on game improvement and forgiveness. The G425 irons continue this tradition by offering a combination of distance, forgiveness, and playability that caters to a wide range of golfers, particularly those in the mid-to-high handicap range. These irons feature a compact yet forgiving design, with a slightly smaller head compared to previous models, providing a clean and appealing look at address without sacrificing forgiveness. The key to their performance lies in Ping's "Hyper 17-4 Stainless Steel" construction, which allows for a thinner face, leading to higher ball speeds and increased distance.
Another standout feature of the G425 irons is the "Metal-Injected Molding (MIM) Tungsten Weight," strategically placed in the toe of the club. This increases the moment of inertia (MOI), enhancing stability and forgiveness on off-center strikes. The irons also incorporate a new "Variable Face Thickness (VFT)" design, which optimizes ball speed and launch angle across the face, ensuring consistent results. Additionally, Ping's "Hydropearl 2.0" finish helps repel water, providing better performance in wet conditions. Overall, the Ping G425 irons are designed to deliver a blend of power, accuracy, and forgiveness, making them an excellent choice for golfers looking to improve their consistency and performance on the course.
