This unique design, incorporating a high-strength Titanium Alloy, optimises the driver’s performance by ensuring consistent energy transfer across various impact points on the clubface. This innovation results in increased ball speed and improved distance.
Carbon Fibre Crown and Sole
The lightweight composite crown and sole inserts are created from a premium-grade carbon fibre composite pre-preg material, using a sophisticated compression moulding process. Leveraging this lightweight yet durable component enables engineers to optimise weight distribution within the clubhead, increasing the moment of inertia (MOI) and lowering the centre of gravity (CG) for enhanced distance performance and forgiveness.
Precision Weighting Technology
The standard Black Ops Driver features two light weights (2.5g) and one heavy weight (12.5g) that are interchangeable, allowing for personalised spin and bias settings. The adjustable weighting can raise the combined MOI to over 10K grams – cm². The Ultra-Lite Driver includes a single adjustable weight. Driver weights are offered in 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, and 20-gram options, enabling easy fine-tuning of overall head weight and shot bias to suit individual players.
Non-Uniform Bulge and Roll Design
This innovative design technique enhances driver performance by strategically adjusting the horizontal and vertical curvatures across the face. It supports increased forgiveness and optimises overall performance by refining the club's response to off-centre hits. The use of a Robotic Face Polishing Process allows us to routinely create non-uniform Bulge and Roll face radii.
Natural Frequency Optimisation
