Faster, Thinner Face Design
The PXG Lightning Hybrids are designed with an advanced thinner face—6% thinner than the Black Ops—resulting in a 3% increase in face deflection at impact. This innovation significantly boosts ball speed across the entire face, enabling faster ball speeds and enhanced distance with every swing.
Consistency Meets Precision: Each loft is meticulously tuned with an optimised progressive face curvature, enhancing accuracy on off-centre hits.
High-Strength Carbon Fibre Crown
Lighter, Faster, and More Forgiving: The use of a high-strength carbon fibre crown allows for the removal of excess weight from the crown, redistributing mass low and around the perimeter. This results in a lower centre of gravity, higher launch, improved stability, and greater forgiveness on every shot.
High MOI Squared Head Design
Confidence from Every Lie: The squared face design generates mass at the extreme edges of the sole to enhance the moment of inertia (MOI) and minimise twisting at impact. This leads to straighter shots, higher launch, and consistent distance, even when contact is made outside the sweet spot.
Spined Sole Design
A reinforced Spined Sole effectively reduces unwanted vibration frequencies, augmenting energy transfer for quicker ball speeds and a pure sound. Every gram of weight is utilised to maximise performance and bolster confidence.

The PXG Lightning Hybrids feature three precision weight ports—two 2.5g weights and one heavy 12.5g weight—allowing for fine-tuned launch, spin, and shot bias adjustments. Fitters have the capability to reposition up to 20 grams of mass to shift the CG location and customise flight characteristics.
