Featuring elegant dark accents, including Scotty’s sophisticated Tour Black finish on the putter head and shaft, this groundbreaking Newport 1.5 Plus model offers players a uniquely crafted blade that is slightly wider, providing a bold and confidence-inspiring aesthetic. The seasonal H22 release embodies new technology in a limited edition putter, further advancing Scotty’s renowned blade design with its innovative setup.
The “Plus” concept artfully merges the sleek aesthetics and setup qualities of a traditional blade with the stability benefits typically observed in larger, higher-MOI putters. Relying on proven multi-material design principles, the dark colour scheme of the H22 Black Limited Proto extends from its precision milled 303 stainless steel body to the military-spec, stencil-styled engraved 6061 aluminium sole plate, which is anodised in black. With a length of 34.5”, this Plus-sized blade features a toe flow-promoting jet neck and is equipped with a newly textured Pistolero Plus grip, a custom headcover, and a model-specific shaft band. Scotty’s signature three-dot design is beautifully showcased in the machined metal circles milled into the back pocket.
Only 1,500 units have been crafted for worldwide release on December 22, 2022.
The H22 Black Limited Newport 1.5 Plus design maintains the classic curvy features of the iconic Newport shape but incorporates a slightly wider profile compared to standard face-to-flange blade dimensions. This design adjustment provides an enhanced perspective from address, increases the moment of inertia (MOI), while retaining the clean aesthetics and precise alignment that are characteristic of blade putters.
MULTI-MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION
The H22 Black Limited continues Scotty Cameron’s established construction methodology of using complementary materials to optimise performance characteristics. The ‘Plus’ model features a precision milled 6061 aircraft grade aluminium sole plate that is expertly integrated into the 303 stainless steel putter head, allowing for superior weight distribution, balance, and feel.
