A perennial standout in Scotty Cameron’s mallet design collection, the new Phantom 5 maintains its compact mallet configuration and blade-like feel, now featuring an updated, modern shape. This exceptional putter is precision milled and expertly constructed using a premium blend of 303 stainless steel and 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium. When compared to earlier iterations, it boasts a straighter wing angle, while the redesigned topline showcases elegantly milled sight dots, enhanced with translucent smoke paintfill to facilitate confident alignment on every putt.

Every aspect of this tour-proven, near-face balanced mallet putter has been meticulously refined. The solid stainless steel framework incorporates a dual-milled face texture and a one-piece body, seamlessly integrated with a more robust aluminium sole plate and stainless steel sole weights. For 2024, both sound and feel have been further improved, with a 10% increase in vibration dampening material strategically placed between the steel and aluminium components, delivering optimum performance. The putter is fitted with a newly designed paddle-style grip, tailored specifically for the Phantom series. The stepless steel shaft features a mid-bend that points directly down the target line, offering one shaft of offset for an advanced Phantom 5 that preserves the traditional topline appearance of a blade while ensuring the stability of a mallet.

FULL CONTACT GRIP
Each Phantom model is equipped with the innovative Full Contact paddle-style grip, custom-designed for this line. Tapered at both ends and uniquely shaped for superior in-hand feel, this grip is crafted with the ideal size, weight, and form, resembling the Tour-preferred “Baby T” with its “chain link” texture, ensuring reliable connection with the putter under any weather condition. The larger flat surface of the paddle enhances the player’s face angle awareness at address, making it easier to square up to the ball.

REFINED THREE DOT ALIGNMENT
Three precisely milled sight dots on the topline are accented in translucent smoke with polished machined metal borders, providing elegant yet subtle alignment cues that many players prefer over solid lines when faced with breaking putts. The revamped wings aid in framing the golf ball, allowing for confident alignment.

MID-BEND SHAFT TECHNOLOGY
The stepless steel custom-designed shaft is engineered to minimise face rotation—or arc—during the putting stroke by incorporating a single mid-bend directed straight down the target line.
