About Wilson

Founded in 1914, Wilson became the first golf manufacturer in the world to develop the sand wedge in 1932. By the end of the following year some 50,000 had been sold, cementing the brand's reputation as one of the primary leaders in the golf industry.

In the 1950's Wilson developed their revolutionary 'long ball.' Offering vastly improved speed, this game-changing innovation springs off the club face 40% faster than the speed of the club. Even today, Wilson golf balls continue to be a favourite choice for golfers of all abilities.

Between 1922 and 2019, a total of 62 major golf tournaments were won by players using Wilson golf irons. This pedigree has made Wilson a favorite amongst professional golfers and continues to draw them in new fans from around the world.

In 2023, Wilson decided to relaunch a legend. With a name that elicits images from golf’s golden age, the DYNAPOWER range is back after almost 70 years. Featuring a family of irons, drivers, fairway woods and hybrids, the DYNAPOWER is once again looking to redefine distance. First released in 1956, the original DYNAPOWER Irons featured an innovative approach to weight distribution that revolutionised the game. In 2023, an A.I. supercomputer is responsible for the new iron design to bring power and forgiveness to a whole new level.
