As a player in hot climes, I needed a breathable shoe, with good grip and high levels of comfort for the rocky pathways and rough areas around Cyprus courses. The Adidas Solar has met all my criteria and far surpassed my previous shoes (also Adidas). The style is good but I marked it down as the sole edges are white with black uppers and I prefer dark coloured sole edges. The mesh does collect dust and needs wiping down every 2-3 rounds. As a discounted buy the vfm was excellent and knowing that Adidas shoes suit my foot shape I would have no hesitation in buying another pair when its time to replace these.
