Callaway Mavrik Irons (Steel Shaft)

I bought these irons a few weeks ago and after a few days at the driving range I started to fell the benefit straight away. The feel and look good and the distance is improving at the time . I’m glad I bought these irons .

If you are looking to increase your distance then the Mavriks are for you. They are very strong lofted so I would recommend checking the gapping down to your wedges if you don't buy the AW GW SW with this set. They are a massive improvement on my old (circa year 2000) Wilson irons so I'm over the moon with them.

I bought these clubs after being out from golf for 15 years. When the irons arrived and now ive played about 11 rounds with them I'm so happy i purchased them. They have a lovely feel too them, they feel good when and also hardly notice the difference when you hit miles off target. when looking down at the irons they are not sexy irons i must admit at first however now that I have played with them i love the them 100%. i would highly recommend these irons to anyone that wants quality irons at an affordable price. First of all thanks to golf online, delivery was quick. I read all the reviews about Callaway Mavrik irons and thought they were too good to be true. But I was wrong, the clubs are great, they look good, feel good and they go miles. I just need to adjust with the short irons. I’ve used them for 3 rounds so far and given it’s winter with damp air and slow running fairways the 5 iron carries 175 yards, I can probably add 20 yards to that in summer, so I am well pleased. The other irons are the same and go at least 15 to 20 yards further than my old irons. In addition they are very forgiving. So am looking forward to summer golf playing the competitions off the back tees, I might make more greens in regulation.

After a time looking at irons to upgrade my old set of ping G20's it came down to two sets either the Apex 21 dcb's or the Mavrik's, in the end I just wasn't willing to spend the extra £300 for the Apex's so the Mavrik's it was. Am I happy with my purchase definitely. Out of two rounds I can honestly say I've only hit 3 poor shots with these iron's. It just seems I have to do something really god awful in my swing to miss with them. I know these iron's won't be everyone's cup of tea but for my game they've definitely increased the enjoyment factor.

After purchasing my new Mavrik’s and discovering how good they felt and easy to use, I wanted to add the 4 iron to my bag. It is just as easy to hit and gives great distance too, a great addition to my game.

I am hitting on average an extra 15 yards per club compared to my last set. This has caught me out a few times with club selection on approach to greens. All in all i am very happy with this set of irons.

I needed an Approach wedge to fill the gap between sand wedge and pitching wedge on my set of Callaway Mavrik irons. The price was competitive with all other suppliers and a 10% discount was very nice. The club was delivered earlier than promised and came in perfect, new condition. It fits the bill exactly for me giving a regular distance of 100 yards. Very nice feel when chipping which is a bonus. Very happy with club and service provided.

I've been using the same irons for a few years now and was interested to see if some new technology clubs would really make a difference, and so far they have. The shot sounds great, (when you connect properly), and you can really feel the impact in a good way, not a shudder up the shaft. Scored 41 points in my first round using them so hopefully my handicap will drop a few more shots over the coming weeks.

As a player that has been struggling playing with his blades these clubs are fantastic , the clubs are far better then the player holding them, my blade five iron is seven iron with this set , if you want more distance and a forgiving club these irons are worth taking a look at

Purchased these irons after reading and watching reviews. I was looking for an extra few yards while maintaining an element of forgiveness. These irons do what they are made to do - they get the ball up in the air with ease and are very long. Great looks in the bag and at address and I am sure these would suit golfers if all ages and abilities.

I bought a callaway mavrik 4 iron and although I’m a beginner, I found it relatively easy to use, and good for distance , although for me that only equates to about 145 yds as I’m a beginner. Also found it very forgiving. Would definitely recommend , also dispatched and delivered within 2 working days even though I was quoted 7 as I opted for free delivery. So excellent service .
