This is really easy to change and refit. Just one nut to undo, don't make the mistake I did, I thought the retaining circlip washer needed to come off. It does come off but is really hard to get back on. Then make sure the new brake assembly sits flat, needs tapping in to place. Re do the nut and away you go.
When I managed to finally snap the last tooth on the original brake gear I thought I was done. Finding the part on golf online was a stroke of luck. I was sceptical of it saying simple fit, but literally undo 1 bolt slide off the old gear and push in the replacement - was as easy as that, a 2 minute job, works like new. No more hoping the trolley won’t disappear into a lake....
