The Scottsdale TEC putters, crafted with precision and influenced by our collaboration with Tour players, are a result of extensive research conducted by the PING Innovation Team in the PING Putting Lab. Their striking design not only stands out but also introduces a groundbreaking alignment technology that assists golfers in sinking more putts with confidence.

Utilising a proven eye tracking technique known as Quiet Eye, the Scottsdale TEC putters incorporate an innovative alignment feature called Eye-Q. This unique focal point located on the top rail of the putter offers players a clear and defined dot, along with a long alignment line. This design helps golfers to 'quiet' their eyes prior to their stroke, allowing for a stable fixation at the critical moment. Such stability is paramount during the quiet-eye period, significantly improving the chances of success.

The one-piece PEBAX insert within the Scottsdale TEC putters contributes to an improved feel and enhanced distance control. PEBAX elastomer, a lightweight and elastic material also found in athletic shoe soles, provides an exceptional energy return while ensuring a soft yet reactive experience during each putt.

Constructed with a lightweight aluminium body paired with a dense stainless steel sole plate, the Scottsdale TEC putters strategically position weight low and towards the perimeter. This design maximises the Moment of Inertia (MOI) and optimises the Centre of Gravity (CG), ensuring high forgiveness and consistent roll. The weight savings achieved from the PEBAX insert cavity allow for discretionary weight adjustments to further refine performance.

The Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue models feature an onset hosel position that aligns the shaft along the centre line of the putter head, situated behind the top rail and in front of the CG. This positioning facilitates a complete view of the ball for alignment purposes, while the CG behind the shaft axis ensures a natural pulling motion through the stroke, preserving stability and the dynamic feel whether using a slight arc or straight-arc model.
