The striking new design of these putters sets them apart from the competition while incorporating an exciting alignment technology that assists golfers in improving their ability to sink more putts.
The development of the Scottsdale TEC putters utilises a proven eye-tracking technique known as Quiet Eye. This innovative alignment technology, referred to as Eye-Q, presents a unique focal point on the top rail of the putters. The combination of a dot focal point and a long alignment line allows players to 'quiet' their eyes before executing their stroke. This dot serves as a clear anchor for the golfer’s gaze, facilitating a stable fixation at the critical moment. Such stability is essential during the quiet-eye period.
In addition, the Scottsdale TEC putters feature a one-piece PEBAX insert, which offers a slightly softer feel alongside improved distance control. PEBAX elastomer, a material frequently utilised in athletic shoe soles due to its elastic properties, is a lightweight, high-energy return compound that creates a soft yet responsive sensation in every stroke.
The combination of a lightweight aluminium body and a dense stainless steel sole plate positions weight low and to the perimeter of the Scottsdale TEC putters. This strategic placement ensures extreme Moment of Inertia (MOI) and optimal Centre of Gravity (CG), leading to high forgiveness and a consistent roll. The weight savings from the PEBAX insert cavity allow for discretionary weight to further refine performance.
