Condition is exactly as described and photographed above. A manufacturer's warranty does not transfer to a pre-owned club, so we cover it ourselves: 6 months from the date of dispatch against genuine failure, which does not include the wear shown in the grading above. The Cobra Fly-Z XL irons, released in 2015, were designed as an easy-to-hit, game-improvement set aimed at mid- to high-handicap golfers. The primary focus of the Fly-Z XL irons was to provide maximum forgiveness, higher launch, and increased distance, making them ideal for players looking to improve consistency and overall performance. The irons featured a large clubhead with a low center of gravity (CG), which helped golfers launch the ball higher and with more ease, resulting in longer, more forgiving shots.
One of the key technologies in the Fly-Z XL irons was the Speed Channel, a trench around the perimeter of the clubface that allowed for more flex and faster ball speeds, especially on off-center strikes. Combined with the E9 Face Technology, which expanded the sweet spot, these irons were designed to maintain distance and accuracy even on mishits. The wide sole design improved turf interaction and helped prevent fat shots, making the irons more forgiving and easier to hit consistently.
