Cobra King Forged Tec Black Irons / 4-PW / N.S. Pro Modus 3 Tour 105 X-Stiff Flex

The Cobra King Forged Tec irons, released in 2016, were designed for golfers seeking a blend of classic forged feel with modern performance enhancements. These irons were aimed at mid- to low-handicap players who desired distance and forgiveness without sacrificing control and feel. The Forged Tec irons featured a compact head and a sleek, modern design with minimal offset, offering a clean look at address, appealing to better players who prioritize precision and shot-shaping ability.
A key feature of the Cobra King Forged Tec irons was the forged 1025 carbon steel body, which provided a soft and responsive feel at impact. Inside the cavity, tungsten weighting was strategically placed in the heel and toe areas to lower the center of gravity (CG), offering higher launch and greater forgiveness while maintaining stability on off-center hits. Additionally, the irons incorporated CNC milled faces and grooves, ensuring more precise spin and control, especially on approach shots.
The irons also featured PWRshell face technology, which increased ball speed across the face, helping generate more distance without sacrificing the soft, forged feel. Overall, the Cobra King Forged Tec irons were praised for delivering a balanced combination of distance, forgiveness, and control, making them an ideal choice for players who wanted modern performance in a classic forged iron design.
