Constructed using a sophisticated multi-material two-piece design, the Torpedo ZT unites a precision-milled 303 stainless steel front section with a lightweight 6061 aluminium rear body. This strategic combination not only enhances performance through Zero Torque technology but also offers high MOI forgiveness, refined alignment characteristics, and a tour-inspired mallet profile; all while providing exceptional sound and feel.

Zero Torque Design
PXG’s Zero Torque Design maintains the face’s square position from the initial stroke through to impact. With the centre of gravity situated directly beneath the shaft axis, any torque generated during your stroke is minimised, aiding in achieving a consistent face angle throughout the impact.

Onset Hosel
The onset hosel positions the shaft axis just above the centre of gravity, creating a designated toe-up balance point. With the shaft axis located very close to the CG, the putter exhibits remarkable stability and resists twisting during the stroke. Featuring a measured loft of 5°, the Torpedo ZT functions similarly to a traditional 3° putter due to its integrated 2° forward press, which naturally places the hands at address while counteracting the hosel geometry for consistent face delivery.

Multi-Material Construction
The Torpedo ZT merges a precision-milled 303 stainless steel front section with a lightweight 6061 aluminium rear body. The steel striking area provides exceptional sound and feedback, whilst the aluminium rear section allows optimal mass placement that enhances forgiveness and improves alignment characteristics, achieving the precise CG positioning necessary for Zero Torque performance.

High MOI Mallet Design
With the application of lightweight aluminium in the rear structure, the mass is positioned farther away from the centre of gravity, thus significantly amplifying MOI and forgiveness. Its larger footprint also fosters confidence-inspiring alignment features and unique geometry, including PXG’s innovative Pick-Up Pocket design for effortless ball retrieval.

Pyramid Milled Face Pattern
The Pyramid Milled Face Pattern boasts aggressive milling geometry that is optimised for consistent interaction with golf ball dimples. This engineering results in improved roll characteristics, exceptionally consistent acoustics, and the soft sound typical of an insert putter combined with the responsiveness of a precision-milled face.

Adjustable Weighting System
This putter features interchangeable sole weights that allow for fine-tuning of the total head weight according to a golfer’s preferred feel. This system provides precision customisation for fine-tuning distance control while maintaining the stability and performance benefits of the Zero Torque design.

Specifications

The Torpedo ZT is stock standard with 2x 9g weights. It is designed with a 5° measured loft, providing performance similar to a traditional 3° putter thanks to its integrated 2° forward press design.
