WHAT IS RCT?
Titleist RCT (Radar Capture Technology) golf balls are equipped with embedded radar reflective technology, meticulously developed over the past three years by Titleist Golf Ball R&D engineers.
As stated by Jeremy Stone, Vice President of Titleist Golf Ball Marketing, "The RCT golf balls maintain the same design, materials, quality manufacturing, and most importantly, the identical performance as every non-RCT model, with improved indoor radar signal capture."
HOW DOES RCT WORK?
The internal radar reflective marker incorporated within our RCT golf balls provides an optimised signal capture system, allowing for genuine spin measurements as opposed to estimates in current indoor settings.
This embedded radar reflective technology eliminates the need to apply reflective spin markers or achieve precise orientations to collect accurate data within indoor simulator environments.
By measuring launch, speed, and spin at impact, the data generated by launch monitor devices becomes more reliable—offering details regarding calculated distance (carry, roll, total) and trajectory (peak height, angle of descent). This measured performance ultimately facilitates improved fitting opportunities for both club and golf ball.
