PROGRESSIVE CENTRE OF GRAVITY
Fine-tuning the centre of gravity (CG) is crucial for achieving optimal flight, precision, and forgiveness in a wedge. The SM10 wedges include a progressive CG that is specifically calibrated for each loft to enhance performance. In the higher lofts, the CG has been strategically moved higher and closer to the face, leading to a lower, more controlled flight with improved stability. Coupled with enhanced Moment of Inertia (MOI), the SM10 delivers remarkable feel and consistency.
PATENTED SPIN MILLED® PROCESS FOR MAXIMUM SPIN
The patented Spin Milled® grooves found in the SM10 wedges are meticulously crafted using a proprietary cutting method. Each groove is cut based on its loft and finish, featuring narrower, deeper grooves in the lower lofts (46°-54°) and wider, shallower grooves in the higher lofts (56°-62°). Micro-grooves are carved between each groove to maximise spin for those delicate shots. A special heat treatment is applied to the impact area, significantly enhancing groove durability without compromising feel—ensuring the highest quality in golf. Only after 100% inspection are these wedges deemed ready for performance.
