Fantastic forgiving irons I wanted to get a new set as I have started playing after a 5 year break and I have started having lessons

Only used twice but already notice the extra distance and ball striking compared to my old set.

Getting back into golf after a long break, and these irons have made the learning curve that much more manageable. Very forgiving compared to other irons I've used, and significantly increased distance along with a fairly high launch angle makes these clubs an excellent choice for anyone who needs a little help to get the basics right like I do.

Needed a Gap wedge in the Wilson D9 series. Could not get it in Norway. Just the 100m+ club i missed in my bag. :)

I bought these after trying them in the shop, they instantly added easy yardage, the problem is that you will get less spin and stopping power on the greens, so it is a trade off. For me it is worth it as my old clubs were hitting much too short and I was losing too many shots on the longer holes. They look good, feel good (I actually prefer the steel ones to the graphite ones, but it's all personal).

At 18 deg this isn’t going to be easy to launch… but on the occasions that I have found the sweet spot it just goes. I don’t like the look of Hybrids so will persist with this. It’s just great value while retaining a premium feel. Wilson are the best Bang For Your Buck.

Great sand wedge to finish off a really brilliant set of irons. Can't recommend them enough.

Bought this to complete my set of D9 Irons - I've been playing Wilson Ci11's for a number of years and wanted something that offered a bit more forgiveness and was higher launching. They do exactly that and offer an improvement in distance across the set. I particularly like the bounce on the sole of these clubs and was happy to expand the set to include the gap and sand wedge. The gap wedge and sand wedge dispense with the power slots that are present with the rest of the set and give more feel off the face - Wilson offer incredible value and I think this perversely will put some people off, but I would suggest you try them and make your own mind up. I would highly recommend

I bought these clubs 5 months ago after having a set of blades that I just couldn't use. At the time I was an 18 handicap now down to 13 after I bought these. I'd say the best thing I've noticed about these is the distance they added to my game on average hitting each club 15 to 20 yards further than my blades. They genuinely are a very forgiving iron. The only downside for me was the grips I prefer a thicker grip on my irons and I found these quite thin. Overall though these are excellent irons at an excellent price.

A few nice shots off the fairway when attempted. Main use so far has been at the range, not yet getting the distances I feel I should be, but consistently hitting well and straight

Have used callaway irons and tailormade sim irons which I still have and use bought the Wilson staff D9 Irons and had them custom made reason great value for money mainly but when I used them on the course was very impressed with them great flight and ball control really bought them as a second set ie back up set but been using them on all my rounds Play 4 rounds a week since I got them from golf online over 40 rounds now think my sim irons will be in the cupboard for a few more months yet Never used Wilson clubs before but would highly recommend them great product from Wilson staff

Very good irons for high handicappers or new to golf, used weekly and they are great.

I've played a couple of rounds with the iron set and found them easy to hit and get the ball in the air.

Do not over look these irons when buying new ones. Performance matches up to the big brands. I have tried most of the new out and I did not justify paying extra money for the other irons like sim 2 or cobra speed zone when the performance gain was so little and forgiveness was slightly less. Yes these irons are slightly bigger then others out there but not offensive

Waiting for courses to reopen to give then a full round but seems great from practice balls so far
