Nike Golf is pulling in Big Names to Represent them on Sundays

Last week Nike Golf announced their latest line-up of brand ambassadors, including five-time PGA Tour winner Patrick Reed and former world number one Lee Westwood.

Reed, who was originally signed to the brand in 2011 but left for Callaway in 2013, is now solely attached to Nike apparel and footwear. In 2016 Nike announced they would no longer be manufacturing golf hardware. With his Callaway contract now over, it is still up in the air which clubs Reed will be using in 2018. Joining the American wearing the Swoosh this season are Alex Noren, England’s Chris Wood, plus rookies Cameron Champ and Jimmy Stanger. Westwood will be wearing Nike footwear alongside Si Woo Kim for the upcoming season.

This latest round of signings proves Nike Golf is serious about being out in front on Sundays. With its biggest name – Tiger Woods - returning to play later this month, the brand will be hoping for a powerful and successful 2018 thanks to their new ambassadors as well as their old pros including Woods, Rory McIlroy, Michelle Wie, Jason Day and Brooks Koepka.
