The G440 hybrids are expertly crafted to cater to golfers of all skill levels, each hybrid engineered to provide distinct ball-flight characteristics. From the slightly fade-biased 2 hybrid, which excels in off-the-tee situations, to the draw-inducing 5, 6, and 7 hybrids designed to optimise gapping, each club serves a specific purpose. All models feature a newly developed, shallower and thinner face design, enhancing contact to achieve increased ball speed and higher-launching shots that effectively hit and hold the greens. The lower centre of gravity (CG) within the multi-material heads, composed of stainless steel, maraging steel, and carbon, further contributes to significant distance gains. Additionally, the slimmer back weight allows for a more contoured sole design, ensuring the club sits flush against the ground while maintaining a consistent face angle.
Re-designed Face Structure
The innovative shallower face design (8% shallower) enables golfers to strike higher on the face, which in turn facilitates higher launch angles for their hybrids. The thinner face (6% thinner) and optimised profile work together to boost ball speed at the centre, while providing better control over off-centre strikes.
Free-Hosel Technology
By eliminating 4g from the hosel, screw, and heel sections of each hybrid loft, mass savings result in a 12% lower CG. This, combined with the reduced face height, enhances launch characteristics and stopping power without sacrificing ball speed.
Contoured Sole Design
By refining the back-weight profile, this hybrid ensures that the club maintains a more stable position on the ground, while the face angle remains consistent regardless of the loft or lie setting. This allows golfers to effortlessly adapt to various loft and lie options available through the adjustable hosel.
Extensive Loft Offerings
Each hybrid is tailored specifically to cater to the needs of golfers with different skill sets. The 2 hybrid (17°) has a slight fade bias, offering a lower, more penetrating flight suitable for tee shots. The lofts have been increased by 1° in both the 3 hybrid (20°) and 4 hybrid (23°) for a higher launch with a neutral flight and enhanced stopping power. The 5 hybrid (26°), 6 hybrid (30°), and 7 hybrid (34°) exhibit a slight draw bias and higher launch angles to promote straighter shots and facilitate smooth transitions into the iron set.
CarbonFly Wrap Crown
The incorporation of the CarbonFly Wrap crown not only reduces weight but also helps lower the CG and improve forgiveness, all while contributing to a more muted and pleasing sound upon impact.
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 Adjustable Hosel
This lightweight, 8-position hosel allows for fine-tuning adjustments of loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than standard) to achieve optimal ball flight for the best possible outcomes.
