Dual Cavity Design
The expertly engineered Dual Cavity Design effectively removes mass from the centre of the club and redistributes it to the perimeter, significantly enhancing the Moment of Inertia (MOI). This Weight Savings Insert in the outer cavity allows the centre of gravity (CG) to be placed lower and further back, ensuring maximum forgiveness. The inner cavity is infused with PXG's industry-leading XCOR2 Technology, a lightweight polymer that minimises mass in the core of the clubhead, dramatically boosting MOI and forgiveness, whether on heel-toe or high-low mishits.
Ultra-Thin Maraging Steel Face
PXG irons have always featured the thinnest face in golf. Made from high-strength HT1770 maraging steel, the variable ultra-thin face measures just 0.050 inches (approximately 1.27 mm) thick. When combined with PXG's proprietary XCOR2 Technology, these advancements contribute to increased distance and forgiveness whilst enhancing sound and feel.
XCOR2 Technology
XCOR2 is PXG's groundbreaking polymer core material, developed after years of research and development, first seen in PXG's flagship 0311 GEN6 Irons. This exceptionally lightweight material helps to reduce the core mass, allowing more weight to be positioned low and along the perimeter of the clubhead's backside, thus significantly enhancing MOI. Coupled with PXG's variable ultra-thin face technology, XCOR2 improves the Coefficient of Restitution (C.O.R.), enabling extreme face deflection and outstanding ball speed.
Power Channel Technology
Power Channel Technology refers to the proprietary U-shaped corridor incorporated into the internal surface of the club face, designed to enhance deflection and flex in the upper section. This channel encourages face movement and directs energy to simultaneously boost launch angles, trajectory, and ball speed.
