2 Year Warranty
Specifically crafted for golfers seeking an easy-to-hit iron that optimises performance while instilling confidence and enjoyment, the PXG Black Ops Irons feature a smaller head size with elongated blades, providing exceptional workability and forgiveness.
A Breakthrough In Game Improvement
Introducing the PXG Black Ops Irons – our inaugural Game Improvement Irons. Incorporating advanced XCOR2 Technology and an innovative dual cavity design, these irons are constructed with a high-strength, ultra-thin Maraging steel club face. The result is remarkable forgiveness, impressive distances, rapid ball speeds, and a feel that surpasses even that of forged clubs.
- Easy to hit
- Incredibly forgiving
- Explosive distance
- Extreme ball speed
- Amazing feel
Dual Cavity Design
The Dual Cavity Design effectively redistributes weight away from the centre of the club, resulting in a substantial improvement in Moment of Inertia (MOI). This design features a Weight Savings Insert that allows for a lower centre of gravity (CG) positioned further back, maximising forgiveness. The inner cavity incorporates PXG’s leading XCOR2 Technology, a lightweight polymer that minimizes mass within the clubhead, significantly enhancing MOI and providing superior forgiveness on both heel-toe and high-low mishits.
Ultra-Thin Maraging Steel Face
From the beginning, PXG irons have featured the thinnest face in the game. Crafted from high-strength HT1770 maraging steel, the variable ultra-thin face measures an astonishing 0.050" (~1.27mm) thick. When combined with PXG’s exclusive XCOR2 Technology, these advancements deliver increased distance and forgiveness while simultaneously improving sound and feel.
XCOR2 Technology
XCOR2 is PXG’s revolutionary polymer core material developed after extensive research, first utilised within PXG’s flagship 0311 GEN6 Irons. Exceptionally lightweight, XCOR2 allows for a reduction in core mass, enabling a greater weight distribution towards the lower and perimeter regions of the clubhead, therefore dramatically improving MOI. Alongside PXG’s variable ultra-thin face technology, XCOR2 turbocharges the Coefficient of Restitution (C.O.R.) for unparalleled face deflection and incredible ball speed.
Power Channel Technology
Power Channel Technology features a proprietary U-shaped corridor on the internal surface of the club face, designed to amplify deflection and flexing in the upper zone of the face. This engineering promotes face movement, effectively transferring energy to enhance launch angle, trajectory, and ball speed.
