Introducing the PXG 0311 P GEN7 Irons, meticulously crafted for low to mid-handicap players. These exceptional irons boast a midsize head complemented by a moderate amount of offset, designed to provide an optimal blend of performance and forgiveness.
The Best PXG has Ever Made
After a decade of research and development, the PXG 0311 P GEN7 Irons herald a groundbreaking advancement in iron technology and performance within the PXG range. Engineered specifically for low to mid-handicap golfers, these irons offer a delightful soft feel while ensuring the perfect union of workability and forgiveness. These clubs are constructed to push the Coefficient of Restitution (C.O.R.) to the USGA limit, integrating the most innovative technologies:
- QuantumCOR Technology: Optimises energy transfer for explosive ball speed.
- Titanium Bezel Technology: Improves durability and precision weight distribution.
- Thinnest Face in Golf: Provides unmatched flex and performance.
- Moderate offset and mid-size head design: Perfect for precision and forgiveness.
Titanium Bezel Technology
A lightweight titanium insert is used to house the Precision Weighting Technology, removing mass from the club's centre to redistribute weight towards the perimeter, thereby boosting the Moment of Inertia (MOI).
Internal Tungsten Weighting
The GEN7 Irons are designed with 20 grams of internal toe mass tungsten weighting, balancing the Centre of Gravity (CG) directly at the clubface's centre while enhancing forgiveness through an increased MOI.
Precision Weighting Technology
A single substantial weight is strategically placed near the CG on the back of the clubhead, allowing for optimal swing weight. Unique to PXG, this customisation can be experienced during an in-person fitting, and is not intended for post-purchase adjustments.
5X Forged
Each iron undergoes a five-times forging process using 8620 soft carbon steel, which fosters a tight grain structure that enhances durability, prolongs groove life, and improves overall feel and aesthetics.
Milled Back Surface
The back surface milling process is executed with high precision, reducing wall thickness beyond what forging alone can achieve. This creates a superior body design that enhances performance and visual appeal.
