Hideki Matsuyama, Japan

Hideki Matsuyama made history at Augusta National in 2021, becoming the first Japanese man to win a major championship. His precise iron play and distinctive pause at the top of his backswing have made him one of the most recognisable players on tour.

His career highlights also include a win on home soil at the 2021 ZOZO Championship, a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics and a 35-under-par victory at The Sentry in 2025. He represented the International Team at the 2026 Presidents Cup.
