Cleveland Golf Introduces the RTX ZipCore Tour Rack (RAW) Wedge
Cleveland Golf is excited to unveil their latest flagship wedge, the RTX ZipCore Tour Rack (RAW) Wedge. This innovative wedge blends groundbreaking technology with a timeless design, offering golfers the confidence to perform at their best.
The RTX ZipCore is built on a distinctive, low-density core that resides at the centre of the wedge. This ZipCore technology enhances your game by repositioning the centre of gravity, while simultaneously elevating High-Low MOI for improved stability across the clubface. The outcome is a higher frequency of impact on the sweet spot, ensuring consistent spin, distance, and feel with every shot.
When compared to previous models, the UltiZip Grooves have been refined to be 11% sharper and 7.3% deeper, with a spacing that is 7.4% closer together. This optimisation results in a larger groove contact area, guaranteeing enhanced spin and reliable performance in every condition encountered on the course.
Key Features
- ZipCore: Shifts the centre of gravity while increasing MOI, adding spin, improving control, and fostering consistency in all your shots.
- UltiZip Grooves: These advanced grooves are sharper and deeper, enabling optimal spin performance by gripping harder, filtering more debris, and offering increased groove contact with each shot.
- Heat Treatment: A cutting-edge heat treatment process enhances the durability of the ZipCore, ensuring better performance over a prolonged period. This treatment also maintains the lifespan of the grooves, promoting consistent spin performance round after round.
- Shaft & Grip Options: The RTX ZipCore comes with the new True Temper Dynamic Gold Spinner Tour Issue shaft (Wedge Flex, Weight 128g) and features the popular Golf Pride’s Tour Velvet 360 grip (58 Round, Weight 52g).
