A Bridge to Far
So what makes the M5 and M6 Irons special? TaylorMade have incorporated the new Speed Bridge in to both designs. Created to help you go faster, farther and straighter than ever before, this revolutionary design element incorporates a high strength, mass-efficient structural beam spanning across the cavity back of the iron to connect the top line with the back bar of the iron. By forcing this increased rigidity in the top line and upper perimeter of the face, engineers at TM were able to deliver improved sound and feel, along with increased ball speed.
The M5 and M6 Irons further benefit from a more flexible thru-slot Speed Pocket. The larger area allows for even more flex, creating better ball speed and greater distance, even on those pesky mis-hits!
M5 – Explosive Distance with Precise Control
This incredible design is the perfect player’s iron shape, and garners massive distance. Speed Bridge technology has been used here to enhance energy transfer, in a neat smaller design. The results are a unique blend of power, forgiveness and workability – perfectly suited to mid-handicappers and better players. Boasting a clean and compact look at address, the M5 has been specifically created to offer the sound and feel of a pure strike across the entire face.
M6 – Explosive Distance with Maximum Forgiveness
Discover TaylorMade’s latest and most advanced game-improvement irons. Featuring much of the same technology as the M5, the M6 offers mid to high-handicappers the perfect mixture of distance, accuracy and solid feel, in a confidence-inspiring shape that makes it easy to hit.

The M6 also employs an ultra-thin face design, featuring TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone Technology. The thin face combines with ICT to allow the iron to be flexible and fast, as well as providing golfers with a larger and more accurate sweet spot.
