Swing positions, Right or Wrong? with Mark Crossfield

Leigh Rees has some interesting questions about certain positions in his swing that are traditionally perceived as wrong, but Mark Crossfield stands to differ!

Leigh has a handicap of 12 and has some un-textbook like angels in his wrists at the top of the swing. He thinks and has been told he should change it but feels unable to, due to physical limitations. He also brings to Mark's attention that his left arm isn’t straight during impact.

Mark Crossfield discusses how both Lee Westwood and Jordan Spieth have bowed left arms through the ball and that they seem to do pretty well on the PGA Tour and the European Tour. It is not all about the angles that are perceived correctly but the way in which you can perform on a consistent basis. If you were to look at Jim Furyk golf swing then a coach might say that looks terrible and try to make him change it. The truth is that he can repeat the same swing on a consistent basis and so he sticks with it.
