Take a Peek at the Latest Golf Apparel & Hardware Lines new for AW 2018

The summer might be starting to wind down but that doesn’t mean the golf season is over just yet.  With a little more than four months left in 2018, golf’s biggest brands are unveiling their latest designs for this coming Autumn/Winter. Check out the newest ranges, featuring the latest technology that’s already starting to create a buzz on Tour, on social media and in our shop!

HARDWARE

TAYLORMADE GAPR – FIX THE GAP IN YOUR GAME

TaylorMade Golf is hell-bent on bridging the gap in your game and their latest trio of utility clubs is the brand’s ultimate solution. Meet GAPR, three specifically engineered clubs TaylorMade says will sit perfectly in between your longest playable iron and your shortest metal wood. Featuring the incredible SpeedFoam technology, these clubs generate some serious ball speed. Giving players the optimal sound and feel as well as greater distance and improved playability.

Available in three unique head shapes (LO, MID and HI) to produce three specific trajectories, the GAPR Utility Irons are already making the rounds on Tour with world number one Dustin Johnson putting the LO and then the MID straight in his bag this summer.

CLEVELAND RTX 4 – THE CULMINATION OF 4 DECADES OF SHORT GAME INNOVATION

Cleveland Golf has been at the forefront of wedge design for years so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that their newest RTX 4 range is incredible. Featuring the fourth generation Rotex Face and designed using extensive Cleveland Staff feedback, the RTX 4 are the brand’s most tour-authentic wedges to date. Boasting four individual grind options – Full, Mid, Low and the all-new XLOW, the RTX 4 employs a V sole grind for improved turf interaction as well as a more compact and classic blade design to suit the better player.

TITLEIST – #TSPROJECT

Very little is known about the latest Titleist drivers and fairway woods – the TS2 and the TS3 but what is known is that they are Tour tested and approved by big hitters like Justin Thomas and Jimmy Walker. Our first glimpse of the range came back in June at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills. As Thomas gave us a sneak peek of the new driver in his bag, Titleist released the following statement:

“This week marks the start of Titleist’s rigorous tour seeding and validation process for the new TS drivers. This is an exciting step in the development process for all Titleist equipment. Earning the validation of the game’s best players ensures that new products are faithful to the Titleist brand promise of innovation, performance and quality excellence.”

Stay tuned for their impressive release soon…

MIZUNO JPX 919 – 3 NEW MODERN IRON MODELS FOR 2018

There isn’t much to report here just yet, but Mizuno is expected to release the all-new JPX 919 range of irons any day now. The 919 line will replace Mizuno’s current 900 line that many will remember were used by Brooks Koepka to capture his back-to-back U.S. Open wins. Three new JPX 919 models appeared on the USGA conforming list last month so we know we can expect the JPX 919 Forged, the JPX 919 Hot Metal and the JPX 919 Tour Forged, featuring the brand’s signature modern shape and design. We can’t wait!
