Titleist TS1 and TS4 – Offering Golfers Even More Ways to Speed

by Maura Hutchinson

Last year, Titleist introduced the world to the TS2 and TS3 metalwoods. In 2019 the company is giving golfers two more ways to speed. The TS Project now features the new TS1 and TS4 designs, ensuring the range can be enjoyed by every level of player. Read on to learn more about the newest editions to the TS family, available to pre-order now at GolfOnline.

Effortless Distance

Weighing in at just 275 grams, the new TS1 is an ultra-lightweight driver that features all the power of the TS design. This club has been specifically engineered to offer players with moderate swing speeds the joy of effortless distance. Strategically trimmed to maximise launch and distance, the TS1 also features the brand’s SureFit Hosel technology and a high MOI for increased stability and forgiveness.

⬇️ Spin ⬆️ Driving Distance

Titleist have taken the incredible technologies from the TS2 and TS3 and optimised them for the new TS4. A smaller 430cc Speed Chassis has been used in the design to aggressively reduce spin and maximise distance for high-spin players. A low and forward CG location helps to neutralise spin and produce straighter ball flight, while a more compact aerodynamic shape and a refined Radial VFT clubface design reduces weight and increases distance.

If reducing spin to increase driver distance is what you’re after, you are going to want the Titleist TS4. Featuring the brand’s incredible SureFit Hosel, the new TS4 allows for 16 independent loft and lie settings and a CG location that’s 5 mm more forward than the TS2. Plus, it’s already proven its worth on Tour, with Max Honma using it in May to win the Wells Fargo Championship.
