World number 6 Justin Rose proved his game is on top form. Securing back-to-back European Tour titles on Sunday at the Turkish Open, after claiming last week’s WGC-HSBC Champions. The 37-year-old is only the third player in history, behind Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy to win a consecutive event after winning a WGC title.

Over in Las Vegas American Patrick Cantlay earned his first PGA Tour Title at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. The 25-year-old made his mark during the second hole of a sudden-death playoff. Defeating Alex Cejka and Whee Kim to collect a $1.2 million pay day! Plagued by injury that kept him from playing all of 2016, Cantlay is hoping his maiden win forms the foundation of good things to come.
“Having won, I hope they pile up,” the Titleist player told reporters after his win. I feel like getting your first one can sometimes be the toughest one to get.”
