Redemption in Austin is totally Sweet…

American golfer Kevin Kisner proved he has what it takes to be a World Golf Champion. Just 12 months after losing the same event, the Callaway golfer cruised to a 3&2 victory over Matt Kuchar at the WGC – Dell Technologies Match Play.

The win marks Kisner’s third career title and makes him the first player in history to win Match Play after losing in the championship match the previous year. Victory on Sunday also gifted the 35-year-old a pretty hefty payday of over $1.7 USD.

“It was a long week. I prevailed. And I’m a world golf champion,” the golfer stated afterwards.

Gallacher proves age is just a number on an exciting Mothering Sunday…

Over in India, Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher secured his first European Tour title in five years at the Hero Indian Open, beating Masahiro Kawamuro by just one-stroke.

The 44-year-old kept it a family affair, with his son Jack as his caddie, birdieing three of his final four holes to close out the last day with an impressive 71.

“When you’re 44 you’re in the sort of twilight so it’s a big win for me. It was good to finish it out the way I did it, three under for the last four is a great way to finish,” Gallacher told reporters afterwards. Adding, “I just tried to finish as strong as I could and I did that. Thankfully it was enough.”

Here’s the gear that helped Gallacher to secure victory:
