Victory Roundup: Dustin Johnson Starts 2018 off with a Win

Dustin Johnson is proving he’s more than worthy of his World Number 1 status, cruising to an 8-shot victory at the Sentry Tournament of Champions on Sunday.

The TaylorMade player remained cool, calm and collected throughout the final round. Leaving his competition in the dust to claim his 17th PGA Tour title in Hawaii. Johnson battled through windy conditions at Kapalua to shoot an incredible 7-under-65 on Sunday to finish his first tournament of 2018 at 24-under.

“I knew I was playing well, and it’s a golf course I’m really comfortable on,” the 33 year-old told reporters afterwards. Adding, “I was really driving it well this week. I knew as long as I could keep doing that, I was going to do well.”

With his victory on Sunday Johnson makes it 11-straight seasons with a win, currently the longest streak on the PGA Tour. Check out all the gear DJ used in Hawaii including the new TaylorMade M4 Driver.
