The MG5 wedges feature Spin Tread Technology along with a RAW face finish, empowering you to retain optimal spin and control, even in damp conditions. Similar to how tyre treads enhance your car's grip on the road, Spin Tread Technology directs water away from the clubface, significantly increasing friction with the ball at impact.
SAW-MILLED GROOVES
As the first in the MG family to incorporate aggressive saw-milled grooves, MG5 wedges bring you closer to the legal limits of groove geometry. With reengineered ultra-tight tolerances, steeper walls, and sharper radii, these grooves contribute to greater spin capabilities compared to previous MG generations.
SPIN RETENTION IN WET CONDITIONS
Like earlier MG models, the MG5 wedges utilise a RAW face finish and continuous Spin Tread Technology to ensure spin and control are maintained in wet conditions. The continuous Spin Treads function like all-weather tyres, directing water away from the face and boosting friction at impact. SB GRIND
The SB grind showcases a full sole design with consistent trailing edge relief, promoting smooth turf interaction compatible with most swing types. SX GRIND
A new addition to the MG family, the SX grind boasts the widest sole and utilises increased curvature to guarantee consistent turf interaction and performance from the bunker. The reverse-C trailing edge supplies relief that maintains the bounce as golfers adjust the face. This grind is perfect for those seeking an optimal balance of stability and versatility.

The HB grind is crafted for golfers with steeper swings or those playing in softer conditions, featuring a high-bounce design for added stability and forgiveness. Unique heel relief and a tapered trailing edge enhance versatility, allowing the wedge to exit the turf swiftly without digging.
LB GRIND
The LB grind presents minimal bounce, enabling the leading edge to sit close to the ground. The modified C-grind accentuates this address orientation, particularly with an open face. The pronounced beveled leading edge and added camber prevent the leading edge from digging. This grind is ideal for golfers with shallower swings and those navigating tight, firm conditions.
