THE FIRST DRIVERS TO OPTIMISE POI FOR STRAIGHTER MISS-HITS
Traditionally, MOI has been the primary focus for companies aiming to optimise club stability and forgiveness. However, Cobra introduces a lesser-known measurement known as POI, which considers club rotation across all three axes (MOI,Y (horizontal), MOI,X (vertical), and MOI,Z (toe up or down)) that accompanies off-centre hits. The OPTM drivers are the first to optimise both MOI and POI through strategic weight placement and shaping, resulting in a driver that significantly reduces gear effect, providing up to 23% tighter dispersion for longer and straighter shots even on miss-hits.
THE FIRST 13K DRIVER
Cobra has combined its highest MOI design with lower POI, creating the first 13K driver, which is the most stable driver in the golfing world. This 13K MOI is achieved by merging the 10K MOI values from the two horizontal (MOIyy) and vertical (MOIxx) axes with the third diagonal axis (MOIzz). By utilising supercomputing and advanced A.I. technologies, Cobra engineers have created a harmonious design that maximises MOI while reducing POI by over 50%. The result is a significant decrease in side spin on off-centre hits, producing straighter and more accurate drives that stay closer to your intended target line. In comparative testing against the DS-ADAPT MAX-K, the OPTM MAX-K yielded 0.5 shots gained and 82% more playable drives per round.
RESHAPED FOR FORGIVENESS
To effectively optimise both MOI and POI, mass has been distributed more symmetrically around the centre of gravity, tightening it around the CG to minimise the club's diagonal resistance to rotation. Using A.I.-driven simulation tools, Cobra engineers have analysed millions of impact locations to develop in-depth insights into gear effect, determining the optimal positioning for metal/mass and adjustable weights in each model.

Adjustments to loft and lie can be made by +/- 2 degrees in any direction, offering unparalleled fitting customisation, while the innovative SMARTPAD® design ensures the face angle remains square regardless of the chosen setting.
MOI-TUNED WEIGHTING
The OPTM MAX-K driver is equipped with a fixed back weight (11g) that effectively positions the CG low and back, maximising both MOI and club stability.
H.O.T. FACE TECHNOLOGY
A forged face insert featuring H.O.T. Face technology delivers improved face flex, resulting in increased distance and ball speeds on and around the centre of the face.
