Odyssey has moved Zero Torque Forward.
Introducing Odyssey’s latest innovation, the S2S TRI-HOT putters, which mark a groundbreaking advancement in the “Zero Torque” category. Through the use of multi-material construction, we have successfully repositioned the centre of gravity (CG) of these putters to a forward position. This design allows the shaft to enter the head at the topline, eliminating the requirement for shaft lean and addressing one of the major barriers that players face with this style of putter.
Forward CG and Hosel Position
By advancing the CG, we have precisely placed the hosel spud on the topline, significantly closer to the face compared to standard “Zero Torque” putters. This modification results in a more natural, intuitive, and comfortable setup position for golfers.
Multi-Material Construction
Utilising a carefully curated combination of Aluminium, Steel, and over 140 grams of Tungsten, we have engineered a “Zero Torque” putter that allocates more than 80% of its weight beneath the topline. This strategic design supports our forward CG and hosel positioning.
Ai-DUAL Insert
Crafted with the aid of Artificial Intelligence, this dual-layer urethane insert features a soft outer layer paired with a firm inner layer. This innovative design ensures consistent ball speed across the face, while also promoting superior forward roll and exceptional feel as you putt.
New FRD Groove
The newly developed Forward Roll Design Groove is both deeper and more aggressive, with a 19° slope that optimises performance. Working in harmony with the dual-layer design, this groove significantly enhances forward roll up and down the face of the putter.
New Pistol Plus Grip
After surveying the most popular grips used by professionals worldwide, we identified opportunities for improvement. The outcome is a mid-sized pistol grip featuring distinct edges that fit comfortably in your hands, offering enhanced awareness of the putter face throughout your stroke.
Black SL 120 Shaft
Designed on tour for optimal performance, this new black PVD shaft is heavier and stiffer than our SL 90, making it perfectly suited for this style of putter.
